Attractions for a great time
PortAventura World complex is largely formed of PortAventura Park, the first park in Spain, which, throughout the summer, is open every day from Monday to Sunday from 10:30 a..m to 10:30 p.m., so you can visit it any day of the week.
The theme park is divided into 6 different worlds, each of them set in a different part of the planet. Firstly, Mediterrània, an area inspired by a fishing village, which contains the fastest roller coaster in Europe, Furius Baco. You can also get on an old locomotive at Estació del Nord, where you can discover the most extraordinary corners of PortAventura Park, and which will take you to Far West, dropping you off at Penitence Station.
This second world, Far West, inspired by North American culture, will make you feel as if you were a cowboy in the Wild West. One of the most representative attractions in this area is the Stampida, a roller coaster built by the Connery and Cranberry families, both represented by red and blue wheelbarrows, respectively, who duel for new land. Far West also includes Silver River Flume; Grand Canyon Rapids; VolPaiute; and Crazy Barrels; as well as the children’s rides Tomahawk; Buffalo Rodeo; Wild Buffalos; Carousel; and Blacksmith Maze.
You can also delve into the jungle, thanks to its other world, Polynesia, set in the lands of the Pacific Ocean, which includes three attractions: Tutuki Splash, one of the most exciting; Kontiki, the great catamaran that withstands the big storms; and Canoes, for the youngest members of the family.
Another world is China, with the most impressive roller coasters, Dragon Khan, the most famous, and Shambhala, the highest in the park, at 76 metres high. You can also cool off in Angkor; and enjoy Tea Cups, the children’s area and the Imperial Cobra, with the whole family.
If you keep on walking, you will reach Mexico, where you will see the great free fall of Hurakan Condor, 100 metres high; El Diablo – Tren de la Mina, with its original wooden cars; the labyrinth El Secreto de los Mayas; Serpiente Emplumada; Yucatan; Potrillos; and Armadillos.
Finally, if you visit the park with the youngest members of the family, don’t miss the SésamoAventura world, with attractions such as Street Mission; Tami Tami; Waikiki; Coco Piloto; El Árbol Mágico; El Huerto Encantado; and El Salto de Blas; among many others.
This summer, the park has incorporated its new attraction Uncharted: the enigma of Penitence, a multidimensional indoor roller coaster, 700 metres long, with 5 rides, one of them sideway.

During the summer months you can also say goodbye to an unforgettable day thanks to FiestAventura, a multimedia fire, light and sound show with fireworks over the Mediterrània lake. It can be enjoyed from Monday to Sunday, at night.

Water rides for a refreshing summer
PortAventura World also includes the PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, with more than 50,000 m² and 2.08 km of slides; and 16 rides and swimming pools for the whole family. This park is also open from Monday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the summer season, so you can visit it whenever you feel like it.
Highlights include attractions such as King Khajuna, the water free fall of more than 30 metres high; Ciclón Tropical, a multibump slide of more than 100 metres; Rapid Race, with 6 soft slides; Barracuda; El Torrente; and El Tifón. Younger children can enjoy rides adapted to their age, such as Zona Indoor, Junior Body Slides; Mambo Limbo; El Río Loco; Woody’s Lagoon; Cayo Cookie; El Galeón Pirata; and Sésamo Beach.

All the adrenaline of Ferrari Land
What better way to spend a summer day with your family and friends than visiting the Ferrari Land theme park, set in the most emblematic buildings of Italy, which is part of PortAventura World. This park is open every day of the week, in the afternoons, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
One of the most impressive attractions is Red Force, the highest roller coaster in Europe at 112 m and the fastest (180 km/h). As well as Thrill Towers, with its 55-metre high free-fall tower and bouncing tower; Racing Leyends; the F1 simulator, Pole Position Challenge; and Flying Dreams.
For the little ones, the park offers the Champions Race; Maranello Grand Race; Kids’ Podium; Junior Red Force; Crazy Pistons; Kids’ Tower; Junior Championship; and Flying Race.
You can also visit the Ferrari Land Gallery museum, inside the Ferrari Experience building, where you will discover the history of the legendary Italian racing team.
