PortAventura World has an immense complex that includes three different parks: on the one hand, PortAventura Park, the theme park par excellence; Ferrari Land, the latest addition, dedicated to the famous Italian car brand and the pure adrenaline of car racing. And, on the other hand, PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, an incredible aquatic proposal for the whole family, set in the Caribbean islands and its sea of crystal-clear blue water.

The latter park has a total surface area of more than 50,000 hectares, full of attractions and swimming pools, perfect for a summer day of fun and leisure. It is also worth mentioning that it has more than 2 kilometres of slides. In addition, it has various restaurants and cafés to recharge your batteries during the day.

Its facilities have up to 16 different water attractions, including the Ciclo Tropical, a multi-bump slide with a high-speed slope and different gradients, which will make you enjoy this experience to the fullest. Next to it, there is one of the most fearsome, the King Khajuna, a proposal only for the bravest, with its 30-metre-high free fall.

Another option for adults is the Barracudas, two slides, one green and the other blue, with different routes and curves.

Another of the pools that make up the park is Playa Paraiso, which, as its name suggests, offers a place with a waterfall and different depths to make you feel as if you were in the sea. Finally, the Triángulo de las Bermudas is a pool with waves and water cannons, which offers maximum fun for young and old alike.

Proposals for children

This magnificent park, part of PortAventura World, has a wide variety of attractions dedicated especially to the little ones: the Indoor area – El Gran Caribe and the Junior Body Slides, two indoor areas full of slides, pools and games; the Mambo Limbo, made up of four 12-metre-high slides with different routes; and the Rio Loco, where you can let yourself be carried along by the current. Another of the great attractions on Costa Dorada is Aquopolis, located in the heart of La Pineda, a town in the municipality of Vila-seca. This large park, with a Hawaiian theme, has a long history in the history of the town, having been in operation for more than 35 years. It has fifteen attractions for different tastes, divided by intensity: mild, moderate and intense, the latter only for the bravest.

For the whole family

With a children’s area of up to 4,000 m², Aquopolis is an ideal park for families. In this area, there are different areas for children, such as the Funny Jungle, with attractions adapted to the youngest children and figures of animals and fantastic beings; the Treasure Island, with soft slides for children under 12 years old; the Mini Park, which includes different interactive play areas; and finally, the Tortuga Aventura, a very fun slide that goes down a small mountain presided over by this reptile.

You also have at your disposal the Zig Zag attraction, formed by four slides of different colours, with routes of more than 100 metres in length; the Speed Race, a soft and wide slide that will make you compete with the others to be the fastest and reach the finish line first; the Vulcano River, a river you can ride down in a large float while you enjoy the breeze and the summer sun.

And the Magic Oval, a unique proposal in Spain, where you will travel along a winding path on board a boat. And if you prefer to relax, we recommend you visit the Maui Lagoon and Wave Beach swimming pools.
