2023 Edition
From 28 July until 6 August, don’t miss the series of performances at the 48th edition, which includes a wide variety of styles, such as flamenco, rumba, Catalan and contemporary pop, pop rock, reggae and classical. The programme of the Cambrils International Music Festival will start with the first concert, on 28 July, by Gipsy Kings by André Reyes, one of the most legendary in the world of flamenco rumba. His long professional career includes songs such as ‘Bamboléo’, ‘Volare’ and ‘Djobi, djoba’, among many others.
On Saturday, 29th of July, will perform one of the most important groups in Catalonia, Els Amics de les Arts, a pop trio with touches of electronic music, formed by Dani Alegret, Joan Enric Barceló and Ferran Piqué.
They became popular thanks to their album ‘Bed & Breakfast’, and their latest albums are ‘El senyal que esperaves‘ (2020); ‘Vides Llunyanes‘ (2022); and ‘Allà on volia‘ (2023).
Rosario Flores, daughter of La Faraona and El Pescaílla, will land in Cambrils on Sunday, July 30, with her unique style ‘Gypsy Funky’, a mixture of rumba, funk, soul, bossa nova and ballad. In this concert, you can discover his new album ‘Te lo digo todo y no te digo na’; as well as dance to the rhythm of his greatest hits, such as ‘¡Qué Bonito!’, ‘No Dudaría’, ‘Te Quiero Te Quiero’, ‘Al son del tambor’ and ‘Meneito’.

Spanish singer and composer Pablo López is also returning to the stage on 31 July with his new song ‘Quasi’. He participated in the sixth edition of the programme Operación Triunfo; and since then, his professional career has grown exponentially, with songs such as ‘Hijos del verbo amar’, ‘La mejor noche de mi vida’, ‘El Patio’ and ‘Lo saben mis zapatos’.
Also arriving to Cambrils, this coming August 1, the Spanish violinist of Lebanese origin and Armenian descent, Ara Malikian, with his new tour, The Ara Malikian World Tour, a tribute to the freedom of children.
Another of the concerts is Stay Homas, on 2 August. This is an emerging group that came out because of the COVID-19 confinement, with a wide variety of songs in Catalan, Spanish and English, and with multiple collaborations with renowned artists. Highlights include ‘The Bright Side’, ‘Another Love Song’, ‘I’ll be home’, among many others.
If you come to Cambrils with the youngest members of the family, don’t miss the concert by Dàmaris Gelabert, on 3rd August, with a show for learning, with family, thanks to songs such as ‘Bon dia’, ‘Les Vocals’, ‘Els dies de la setmana’ and ‘Comença l’estiu’.
On the 4th of August, you can enjoy the king of pop, Michael Jackson, thanks to the international show ‘This is Michael‘, starring Lenny Jay, and featuring a large cast of dancers, singers and musicians, from all over the world.
The penultimate concert will be that of Miki Núñez, on 5 August, to celebrate the festival’s solidarity night and raise money for Swim for ELA. The artist, who became known during his time on Operación Triunfo, has managed to position himself as a benchmark among young audiences, thanks to songs like ‘Escriurem’, ‘La Venda’ and ‘Celébrate’, among others.
Luz Casal will culminate the programme of the 48th edition of the Cambrils International Music Festival on 6th August with a new tour that highlights her extensive musical repertoire, including ‘Piensa en mí’, ‘Entre mis recuerdos’, ‘Historia de un amor’ and ‘Te dejé marchar’.
Village Zone
Once again this year, the festival will also have a special area, the Village Zone, where you can enjoy concerts by emerging groups from the Tarragona area, as well as taste the best gastronomic offer, with local and seasonal products, by Cal Blay Food Lovers.
