The preparations for the summer Fiesta Mayor begin days before 29 June. The streets and squares of the town are decorated with flags, garlands and festive lights. In this procession, the figure of Sant Pere will be taken out to sea in decorated boats, accompanied by the La Cala Music Band and the La Cala Cornets and Drums. At the end, fireworks will light up the sky of l’Ametlla de Mar.
The night will culminate with a lively popular verbena, with the music of the Pensylvania orchestra and, afterwards, with a mobile discotheque.
