The Bunkers of Carmel

During the Civil War, this place was an anti-aircraft battery to protect the city from the Italian fascist air force, until, later, a neighbourhood of barracks was established.

The Kiss mural
If you are a romantic person, you cannot miss the Kiss mural, located in the centre of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, more specifically, in the Isidre Nonell square, in front of Cathedral of Barcelona. Its official name is ‘The world begins with every kiss’, and it is the work of photographer Joan Fontcuberta, together with ceramist Antoni Cumella. This large-scale mosaic is made up of 4,000 small images printed on tiles, taken by anonymous citizens showing their moments of freedom.
The waterfall in Parc de la Ciutadella
One of the most authentic places in Barcelona is the waterfall in Parc de la Ciutadella, with the figure of Venus in the centre, which you can see either from a boat in the middle of the lake or by go upstairs that make up the monument. This fountain unites nature and sculpture, composing a unique and romantic scene, as a result of the work of the architect Josep Fontseré.

Bisbe Street Bridge

Despite its old style, it was built in 1928 by the architect Joan Rubió i Bellver.
