The city of Reus stands out architecturally by Gaudí. The architect born in this town in June 1852 was recognized worldwide as one of the best for his modernist works. He was gifted with an imaginative capacity that allowed him to create a large part of his works mentally before writing them down. Several of his works were recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites for their exceptional universal value.

The Reus cultural center Gaudí Centre is located at Plaza Mercadal, the most central part of the city, offers all visitors a way to discover Antoni Gaudí and different memories of his works with all 5 senses, thanks to its modern infrastructure and the latest audiovisual technology.
