That is why our intention is that you do it in the most agile and comfortable way possible, so that this journey is not an obstacle for you, as soon as you arrive at your destination.

2 terminals

First, you should know the layout of Barcelona-El Prat Airport, as its large dimensions can be overwhelming once you land. When you go to hire your transfer transport, it is necessary to check, first, which terminal you are landing in.

Barcelona-El Prat Airport is made up of two different terminals, 1 and 2. The most curious thing is that the oldest is Terminal 2, which was inaugurated in 1963, later becoming the airport’s main terminal and being extended on several occasions to cope with the growing passenger demand.

It was not until 27 years later, in 1991, that work began on the construction of Terminal 1, which was completed in 2009 with the inauguration of a much larger and more modern terminal.

In both terminals you will find a wide range of cafés, bars and restaurants offering food from all over the world, as well as Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine. You can find out about all the services available at Barcelona-El Prat Airport by reading our article ‘Travel tips for your transfer from Barcelona Airport to your hotel’.

Find out more and book your transfer beforehand

To make your trip without having to worry about how to get to the hotel, the most important thing is to find out in advance about what is available and, if possible, hire the service that suits you best, beforehand, to avoid unexpected setbacks. In this way, you will ensure that your transfer is not a source of stress in your travel experience.

If your flight lands at Barcelona Airport, whether in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, you have Shuttle2Sun‘s services at your fingertips, offering a fast, comfortable and effective transfer, as well as low-cost and sustainable. Whether it is a leisure or business trip, their services adapt to your needs to make your journey as easy as possible, taking you to the door of your accommodation or back to the door of your terminal.

On the one hand, you have Shuttle2Sun‘s shared transfer services at your disposal, which offer bus transport at the most competitive price on the market and with the possibility of making different stops. For example, if you are travelling with more people and you are not staying in the same hotel, the driver will take each of you to your accommodation on the same trip, without the need for transfers.

On the other hand, if you prefer an exclusive service for your transfer, just for you and your family or friends, you can opt for the private transfer services, with individual door-to-door transfers, 100% adapted to your needs.

In addition, both services guarantee you the possibility to modify or cancel your booking, up to 48 hours in advance, in case of any unforeseen event or last minute change, whether due to flight delay, cancellation, or change of dates, among other reasons.

Shuttle2Sun services are also available at Reus Airport, the port of Barcelona, Girona Airport and the AVE Camp de Tarragona train station
